Sindbad
Synopsis
Baghdad is under threat from a giant monster bird. The Grand Vizier is exploiting the situation and plotting to take power from the Caliph who seems unaware of the danger. His daughter "the princess Shiraz" is wise to the Vizier, and when Sindbad and his crew volunteer to save Baghdad both the Monster and the Vizier had better watch out.
This alternative Sindbad story is full of middle eastern splendour. Djinns with magic powers, a magic bottle, flying carpet and Sindbad's mother "the Begum Buxom" getting everything in a typical pantomime mess!
